Join Us as an Associate Director - Help Lead Your Credit Union Into the Future!

Are you passionate about your community and looking to make a meaningful impact? Great Erie Federal Credit Union is seeking dedicated members to serve as Associate Directors—an exciting volunteer opportunity designed to prepare future leaders for our Board of Directors.

This role provides a behind-the-scenes look at how our member-owned, federally regulated credit union operates, while helping you develop leadership skills and gain a deeper understanding of credit union governance.

As an Associate Director, you’ll:
• Explore Credit Union Leadership: Learn the guiding principles and structure behind effective governance.
• Engage in Strategic Discussions: Attend monthly board meetings and contribute to conversations that shape Great Erie’s direction.
• Grow Your Skills: Receive training in financial literacy, regulatory compliance, and sound board practices.

We're looking for members who are enthusiastic about community service, eager to learn, and ready to contribute. A background in business or finance is a plus, but not required. We’ll provide the training you need to succeed. Expect a time commitment of approximately 3 to 6 hours per month.
