As part-owners of Great Erie, our members elect our volunteer Board of Directors. These community members come from diverse backgrounds and bring a wide range of expertise to their positions. They set credit union policy, set strategic goals, and hire the managers who oversee our daily operations.

Great Erie Board of Directors

Great Erie members elect our directors for three-year terms at an annual meeting. They attend monthly board meetings and serve on committees and task forces that focus on issues important to the credit union and its members.

Great Erie Supervisory Committee

The Board of Directors appoints the Supervisory Committee. Its role is to ensure that an annual financial audit is conducted, member accounts are verified, and the credit union maintains adequate internal controls to safeguard its members' assets. Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee identifies and recommends members to serve on our Board of Directors. They look for individuals who are passionate about our community and committed to helping guide Great Erie’s future.

Importance of Volunteers
