Great Erie's 2022 Scholarship Winners

We received many great applications and are grateful to the students who took the time to apply and share their accomplishments and goals with us. Our selected scholarship winners stood out for their outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements.

Scholarship Award: 2022 Great Erie Federal Credit Union (GEFCU)

College attending: Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), Rochester, NY

Field of study: Software Engineering

"Having worked with both computers and robotics since a young age, I have developed skills and a deep love for "all things technology". In volunteering at nonprofits in a technological capacity, I have strengthened my expertise and have witnessed firsthand the many great things technology can do to help and support the community and those around me. By going to college for software engineering, I can continue to grow in my knowledge and expertise to better serve the community, the world, and those in need around me."

College attending: Canisius College, Buffalo, NY

Field of study: Physical Education and Health

"My plan for the future is to hopefully be back at Orchard Park to teach and give back to the community."
