People helping People - The Mighty Pucks

The Staff of Great Erie FCU presented a $200 check to the Mighty Pucks on Monday, June 10th with their May "jeans/casual wear Friday" donation monies. Every month the staff contributes and donates to an organization in the WNY area. 

The Mighty Pucks are participating in the 11 Day Power Play Community Shift on Wednesday, July 10th from 9am - 12 noon at the Harborcenter. The game, which will last for 11 straight days will be played by more than 2,500 hockey players to raise critically-needed funds for important cancer causes. 

The Mighty Pucks have an ambitious goals to raise $40,000. So far they have raised $38,330.95!!! Donations raised will benefit research and wellness programs locally at Roswell Park, Camp Good Days and Make-A-Wish WNY. In the past two years, The 11 Day Power Play has raised nearly $2.5 million for cancer causes in our community.
